Music is the universal language of mankind. – Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

The benefits of music in our lives are endless. Its ability to improve an individual’s overall well-being by impacting mental health, cognition, and physiology is significant. Equally powerful is its ability to bring people together. As LoveU2Pieces continues its efforts to provide relevant, effective and engaging opportunities for individuals living with high functioning autism and related disorders, we are excited to announce the launch of LoveU2Pieces ROCKS!

COMING THIS FALL!

LoveU2Pieces ROCKS with STL Rockabilities – Ages: 13-18  Social opportunities are often limited for teens who are living with autism spectrum disorders, but critical to overall resilience. This class is a great opportunity for teens who are interested in making friends and learning to work in a group toward a common goal. Join STL Rockabilities and LoveU2Pieces to create a social network, practicing critical skills, all while forming a rock band. Our band will learn several songs during the session and will perform a concert for family and friends as a culminating event! No prior musical experience is necessary to join our band!  Facilitator: Victor Gall, MT-BC

Music Therapy Groups for Young ROCKERS – Ages: 4-6, 7-10 As group members enjoy the process of experimenting with instruments, they will practice valuable social skills including: following directions, turn-taking, sharing, conversation and listening skills, and much more!

If you are as excited as we are about LoveU2Pieces ROCKS, we would welcome your support as we launch this new initiative! Your support will allow us to continue making beautiful music!
